We do love a coffee and a slice of cake - especially when we're also raising money for a worthy cause!
Our recent Macmillan Coffee Morning saw Amesbury Abbey residents enjoying a range of delicious cakes for just £2 a piece, with everything from a honeycomb and caramel slice to coffee and walnut sponge, and the lightest lemon swiss roll.
Everyone had a great time, and when the funds were counted up at the end, we had raised more than £300 for Macmillan. What a delicious bonus!
