What a beautiful day for summer lunch at Sutton Manor!
Our annual lunches are a highlight of the calendar for our residents, who love to gather together to enjoy fine food and good company.
We made the most of the glorious sunshine to set up tables under gazebos on the lawn and decorated them with white linen, sparkling glasses, and vases filled with irises and lisianthus.
James fired up the barbecue while we served tall glasses of Pimms packed with fresh summer fruits.
Mews residents enjoyed a delicious lunch of chilled gazpacho soup, followed by lime and chilli glazed salmon, blackened Cajun chicken fillets and pork chipolatas served with homemade coleslaw, cherry tomato, red onion and basil salad, minted new potatoes and fresh rosemary and sea salt focaccia.
Meringues, fresh strawberries and cream rounded off the perfect summer lunch.
