A rather run down summerhouse in the grounds of Sutton Manor Mews has been given a new lease of life and transformed into a multi-purpose space for independent living residents to meet up and socialise.
The Pavilion has been designed to become the social heart of the Mews and is equipped with internet, a mini library, living room space and a kitchen with a patio for relaxing and tending pots.
Residents enjoyed a launch party BBQ where they toasted their very own new space perfect for hosting friends and family, talks, Bridge and Book club, cheese and wine tastings, art and exercise classes.
Managing Director Naomi Cornelius-Reid said: “It’s wonderful to see this rather unloved space become such a fabulous facility.
“It’s absolutely perfect for our independent living residents who will enjoy having a dedicated space to meet up with friends, relax and generally just soak up the lovely Sutton Manor atmosphere.
“It was worth all the hard work just to see so many happy faces at our party and is already being put to good use!”
