It has been four months in the making but we can now reveal that the staff at Winton Nursing Home have published their special 2018 charity calendar.
The team at Winton Nursing Home, located in (the appropriately named!) Nether Wallop bravely stripped off to pose for the special 2018 calendar. The pictures feature members of the team posing naked while undertaking their everyday tasks, but with some strategically placed props to help preserve their modesty!
The calendars have been sold off to raise money and further demand could lead to a reprinted edition!
The result… our brave team has raised £1,760 for Alzheimer’s Research UK; the proceeds being handed over to the charity on Monday April 23rd.
The cause was chosen due to the nursing home's specialisation in caring for people with dementia. Across the country, there are more than 850,000 people living with the condition and 1 in 3 people in the UK are expected to develop the condition at some point in their lifetime. Clearly, donations such as this are a vital component in supporting dementia suffers nationally.
