Little Angels create colourful nestboxes at Winton House

We’re very lucky to have a huge variety of beautiful birds in the gardens and parkland of all our homes, and our Winton House and Amesbury Abbey residents were keen to get involved in this year’s National Nestbox Week.

The event, which runs from February 14 – 21, encourages everyone to put up nestboxes in their gardens to help wild birds looking for somewhere to build their nests this spring.

We invited the children from the church-run Little Angels mother and toddler group to visit Winton House and paint nestboxes with our residents, and they all had great fun creating some bright and colourful homes for the birds this spring.

All our residents love seeing the children, and we’re looking forward to doing lots more with the group in future.
