We have a very special link with the Naomi House Hospice in the grounds of Sutton Manor and every year they give us our Midsummer rent of a dozen red roses - you can see our recent journal post on this.
This year, they have come up with something really special, inspired by this wonderful tradition.
A local blacksmith has hand-forged a selection of beautiful roses, which can be kept forever. All money raised from the sale of the roses will go to the hospice, supporting the work they do to support little ones with life limiting conditions and their families.
All roses brought will go into a wonderful display in early September in Winchester Cathedral Refectory Gardens before being delivered to their owners to treasure forever.
