Instead of their usual Christmas gift this year; the Residents of Amesbury Abbey and Sutton Manor independent living properties chose to have us make some charity donations on their behalf. We proposed a list of local causes we felt they may wish to support and Residents selected their favourites. However, there was one clear winner at both sites, the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance. So a £500 donation, which will provide a new flame-retardant flight suit for a new Doctor or Paramedic, was made. We also made a £250 donation to both Naomi House, from the Resident's of Sutton Manor, and The Salisbury Hospice, from the Residents of Amesbury Abbey.
