Residents, their family members and staff of Sutton Manor enjoyed an absolutely fantastic Cultural Celebration Day on Saturday, filled with the most vibrant colours, food, song and dance, as well as a fantastic display of artefacts from around the globe, brought, made and performed by our wonderfully diverse staff team. It was a really special afternoon, which so many contributed to and so many enjoyed. Huge thanks to everyone who played a part in making this brilliant occasion happen.
We though we would share just one of the many positive letters we have receieved in the days since...
"I would like to take a moment to extend my heartfelt thanks to each and every one of you for your incredible hard work in making our recent event such a success. Jo (Activities Coordinator), Bernie, Janine, Jo (Head Warden), Yvonne, and Manoj, your efforts were clearly evident throughout.
A special thanks to Health for setting up the Marquee and creating such a wonderful atmosphere.
I am deeply grateful to Bernie, Janine, and Jo for generously offering your weekend to support the event. Your commitment made all the difference. Thanks also to the all the staff who went above and beyond in bringing in items, and those who beautifully performed the dances – your contributions truly made the event memorable." Col. Alastair Drew.
