Alongside our wonderful residents, we have some pretty fantastic relatives.
We were delighted to welcome Rupert Tate to the Abbey, where he gave both the nursing home and independent living residents the most wonderful piano recital on the main landing with its soaring acoustics. The audience were treated to works by Bach, Schubert, Liszt, Chopin, Brahms and Rachmaninov.
Rupert's career has been in finance but he is very involved in the Irene Taylor Trust, a charity which runs music programmes in prisons. We will be making a donation to the Trust in thanks for this most enjoyable of afternoons.
