Individual Retirement Housing and Apartments
Retirement Apartments from £95,000 / Retirement Cottages from £350,000
A short stroll from the busy town of Amesbury and sharing the Abbey’s parkland grounds and mansion house facilities are Mews, 1 & 2, comprising 19 and 13 individual apartments respectively. Also situated within the grounds are the three-bedroom Game House, the unique Diana’s House with its river frontage and private garden, and Garden Cottages, each with two double bedrooms and both purpose built for those needing wheelchair access. There are also four, independent living apartments located within the Abbey itself.
All our retirement properties are designed to meet the accommodation needs of older residents who are finding their houses and gardens too much of a burden, but wish to continue living an independent lifestyle and enjoying their retirement to the full. Our aim is to enable all residents to enjoy their independence without the burden of household chores and property maintenance, yet with a minimum of care.
We understand that once you move to Amesbury Abbey, you will not wish to relocate, which is why illness should be no bar to remaining within familiar surroundings, as our HomeCare Finder service is available to provide domiciliary care when needed and short spells of illness can be catered for within the nursing home.
The supporting services, for which there is a quarterly charge, include:

- External maintenance of properties & grounds
- Twice weekly housekeeping and refuse collection
- Handyman service
